Cadence85 Web Departures
Listing policy· Edition MMXXVI831 listings
Cadence85 was established with a straightforward purpose: to create a systematic, accessible record of destinations on the open web, arranged according to subject and freely available to all who wish to consult it. The catalogue is maintained by the Cadence85 archive and currently encompasses 831 entries distributed across 22 sections, each corresponding to a broad field of human activity or commerce. From legal chambers and medical clinics to travel services and domestic trades, the register aims to provide a reliable point of reference for enquirers of all kinds. Every entry in the Cadence85 register has been submitted voluntarily by its proprietor and reviewed before filing. The archivist does not guarantee the currency of every listing — the open web changes faster than any catalogue can fully record — but takes care to maintain the register in as accurate a state as the available information permits. Submission to the Cadence85 catalogue is open to any legitimate site and is provided without charge. Proprietors are invited to locate the most appropriate section of the register for their site and to submit their details using the form provided. The archivist will acknowledge receipt and notify the submitter once a determination has been made. Cadence85 does not rank its entries by commercial consideration, prominence, or any measure other than the accuracy and completeness of the submitted information. The register is an index, not a recommendation engine; its purpose is to document and organise, leaving judgement to the enquirer.
